Handwriting Without Tears
(for the 4 year old class)
Signup for the PreKitt (free for 90 days), go to page 63 in the digital guide, and click on the smiley face located on the side. You’ll find the lines and curves we use to make all of the capital letters. You can print them out, cut them out and then challenge your child to use them to create the whole alphabet. On page 67 of the virtual workbook, click on the smiley face to view a guide for how all the letters can be formed with the lines and curves. *One thing to note is that J and U cannot be made with the lines and curves by themselves.

Number Sorting
Give your child a deck of cards (minus the face cards). Have him/her sort them by number. Then have your child make addition or subtraction number sentences with them (you can give your child a plus, minus and equals card that you make from paper).
